GENTLE BOIL 1. Bring 6-8 cups of water and 1 cup of RIVIANA BROWN BASMATI RICE to the boil, stirring occasionally. 2. Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered for 12-14 minutes. 3. Drain well and serve. ABSORPTION: 1. Bring 2 cups of water and 1 cup of RIVIANA BROWN BASMATI RICE to the boil, stirring occasionally. 2. Lower heat, cover and simmer for 12-14 minutes. 3. Remove from heat and stand covered for 5-10 minutes. Serve. MICROWAVE: 1. Place 1 cup of RIVIANA BROWN BASMATI RICE in a microwaveable bowl. 2. Add 2 cups of hot water. 3. Microwaves vary; therefore refer to your microwave manual for instructions on cooking time and temperature.
